Acarene Spray | NewPet

Indications

Pigeons, parrots and other psittacines, songbirds and ornamental birds : Local treatment of depluming mites, various plumage mites, mites caused by the red mite (Dermanyssus gallinae, passarinus, etc.) and dermatosis caused by mites such as Cnemidocoptes pilae, C. columbae in caged and flying birds.

Companion rabbits : Prophylaxis of parasitic infections caused by ectoparasites and treatment of ear mites caused by Psoroptes cunicoli, infestations by Cheyletiella parasitovorax, Sarcoptes scabini, Demodex cunicoli and fleas.

Target species

Pigeons, parrots and other parrots, songbirds and ornamental birds such as canaries (Serinus canaria), African goldfinches, cardinalites (Carduelis cucullata), Seedeaters (Sporohila), lovebirds (Agapornis roseicolli, Agapornis perso¬natu, Agapornis fischeri, Agapornis lilianae, Agapornis nigri¬genis, Agapornis canus, Agapornis canus ablectaneus, Agapornis canus canus and Agapornis tarantan), collared parakeets (Psittacula krameri), Australian or common parakeet (Melopsittacus undulatus), and pet rabbits .

Pigeons, parrots and other psittacines, songbirds and ornamental birds : Spray the animals from a distance of 30cm. Apply the product for only 3-5 seconds to avoid complaints due to excessive cooling caused by the rapid evaporation of the propellant and the consequent risk of respiratory infection. Repeat the treatment 5 days after the first application to prevent re-infestation. To reduce the risk of large-scale infestation, it is advisable to treat every 30 days, and reduce to 15 days during periods of infestation. In the case of feather mite infestation, it is advisable to burn off the deciduous feathers.

Pet rabbits : Topical application to the fur. For a typical pet rabbit weighing 1 kg, three applications of 5 seconds each are sufficient. It is recommended to apply the product against the grain of the fur. As a preventative measure, it is recommended to repeat the application every 15-20 days. Avoid spraying the veterinary medicine on the eyes, beak and/or snout of the animals. Do not administer a dose higher than recommended.

Shake the container before use.
