Complementary food for dogs and cats to support the physiological trophism of the gastroesophageal mucosa and the digestive process in the stomach.

GastroTaxil is a complementary food for dogs and cats to support the physiological trophism of the gastroesophageal mucosa and the digestive process in the stomach. Contains tamarind, chondroitin sulfate, Mucosave (concentrated juice of Opuntia ficus indica L. (prickly pear) and Olea europaea L. (olive extract), sodium alginate.

GastroTaxil
- Gastric protector
- Gastric reflux
- Vomiting

Tamarind - Tamarind seeds, rich in polyphenolic compounds known for their antioxidant and cytoprotective activity, are an important source of xyloglucan, a branched non-starch polysaccharide with strong mucoadhesive properties, which helps maintain the physiological structure of the mucoprotective film and gastric mucosa and protect it from the action of gastric juices.

Chondroitin Sulfate - is a glycosaminoglycan present in all extracellular matrices of connective tissue (especially in cartilage, skin, blood vessels, ligaments, tendons and the structure of the esophagus) that performs numerous biological functions, contributes to the maintenance of physiological tissue trophism of the esophageal wall and helps support gastric mucosal function, protecting it from the action of gastric juices.

Mucosave - composed of concentrated juice extracted from prickly pear cactus cladodes (source of mucilage with high viscosity) and olive leaf extract (source of polyphenols with mucoadhesive properties of the mucinous film and maintenance of the cell membranes of the gastric mucosa.

Sodium alginate - polymeric polysaccharide derived from brown algae cells that, when hydrated, develops colloidal properties and helps support the mucoadhesive properties of the mucinous film.

Xanthan Gum - Xanthan gum is a polysaccharide derived from the fermentation of a carbohydrate by natural strains of Xanthomonas campestres. It acts as a thickener and, in contact with water, produces highly viscous solutions. It is commonly used in the human and animal food industry due to its solubility, viscosity, and stability over a wide pH range, and helps support the mucoadhesive properties of the mucinous film.
