Indications

This veterinary medicine is indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases; it has an antiseptic action on the respiratory tract, a bronchodilator effect, and is a mucus thinner.

It can be used in conjunction with antimicrobials for the treatment of respiratory diseases where there is impaired mucociliary transport function and production of viscous mucus.

Stimulant expectorants are frequently used to treat coughs associated with chronic bronchial diseases.

Target species

Songbirds (canaries, goldfinches, mandarins, rosellas, Venezuelan cardinals, tits, linnets, glosters, greenfinches, robins, waxbills, Gouldian finches, grey cardinals, siskins, dominoes, weavers, Java sparrows, Indian bengalis, Japanese nightingales, kakakarikis, lovebirds, mitrated aracaris, parakeets, cockatiels, parrots, macaws, etc.) and homing pigeons .

Each liter contains: Active substance: Bromhexine hydrochloride 5g (w/v); Eucalyptol 40g (w/v).

1 to 2 ml per liter of drinking water.

Duration of treatment: 3 to 5 days, as an adjunct to antibiotic treatment for respiratory infections.

Contraindications

Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to any of the active substances or excipients.

Adverse reactions: None described.
