Catit Nuna Insect Superfoods is made with the larvae of the fly Hermetia Illucens, known worldwide as a beneficial insect with great nutritional properties. These larvae are rich in protein, low in carbohydrates, and easy to digest. They are dried and ground into a very fine and nutritious flour, then mixed with the other ingredients.

That way, you'll never find an insect in your bag! These larvae are sustainably cultivated in North America and Europe, in clean and controlled environments. Did you know that, in its adult stage, the Hermetia Illucens fly doesn't even have a mouth cavity, only very primitive mouthparts that it uses to absorb water and nectar?
