Frequent situations of corset use

Animals undergoing surgery -   Before any surgical intervention (about 1 to 2 months), an animal's immune system must be stimulated so that it can then support the recovery process. After the intervention, and for a period of 2 to 3 months, the immune system must be strengthened to speed up the recovery process.

age-related cancer   Tumors are the cause of death in more than 50% of animals over the age of 10 years. As the immune system of dogs and cats ages, it tends to lose its effectiveness.

Palliative Care -   In cases where a palliative condition due to a tumor is diagnosed, supplementation with Corpet (Coriolus versicolor) is recommended as an alternative to euthanasia of the animal, maintaining the therapy administered in the loading phase.

Visceral Leishmaniasis -   If the immune system develops a humoral or TH2 response, with the production of antibodies, the leishmanias (amastigote forms) that are found inside the macrophages are not destroyed, as they are outside the reach of the antibodies. Thus the infection progresses to the form of severe visceral leishmaniasis. In these cases, the use of Corpet (Coriolus versicolor) as an immunonutrient, aims to potentiate the immune system with a TH1 response.

Feline Leukosis (FELV) -   In cases where the FELV virus has been diagnosed, a supplementation level with Corpet (Coriolus versicolor) is recommended, according to the table below.

Feline Infectious Panleukopenia (FIP) / Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) - In cases where these two types of virus are diagnosed, a supplementation level with Corpet (Coriolus versicolor) is recommended, according to the table below.

Adynamia/ Asthenia/ Stress/ Cardiovascular Prophylaxis -   Due to the immunomodulatory and antioxidant property, a supplementation level with Corpet (Coriolus versicolor) is recommended, according to the table below.

The supplementation schedule with the   bodice   ( Coriolus versicolor ) is composed of two phases:

1. Charging phase:   At this stage, the product is administered in large quantities, which allows its absorption and accumulation.

2. Maintenance phase:   At this stage, approximately half of the dosage administered in the previous stage is applied, over a variable period, which we advise is in accordance with the coordination of the veterinarian. Depending on the clinical situation, the supplementation regimen can be maintained for a period of six months to a year. In cases of palliative care, the animal should be kept in the loading phase.
 

Contraindications:
- There are no known contraindications for the   bodice   ( Coriolus versicolor ).

Adverse reactions:
- Diarrhea may appear in about 2 to 5% of cases, if it persists for more than 5 days, you should consult your veterinarian.

 
Drug interactions:
- If it is necessary to subject the animal to a broad-spectrum antibiotic, supplementation with   bodice   ( Coriolus versicolor ) should be interrupted and then restarted 14 days after the end of antibiotic therapy.
