About Chlorhexidine
The WSAVA Global Dental Guidelines strongly recommend the use of Chlorhexidine in oral hygiene care. They state that evidence has been shown in numerous studies that Chlorhexidine reduces gingivitis when applied consistently over time.

Chlorhexidine has a rapid onset of action and minimal systemic absorption, making it an excellent choice for oral antisepsis. Chlorhexidine has been proven to be effective as an oral antiseptic and can reduce plaque, especially as a perioperative or prophylactic rinse. However, sufficient contact time is probably not achieved when using as a rinse.

Chlorhexidine is a proven antiseptic with broad spectrum antimicrobial action. It has proven efficacy against Gram + and Gram - bacteria, fungi, yeasts and facultative anaerobes.
Chlorhexidine is bound to proteins and enamel and is released slowly, at an antiseptic level, allowing a depot effect.

DENTISEPT binds to proteins and enamel, the Chlorhexidine is released slowly over a 24 hour period, providing a long lasting deposit effect.

Application mode:

Apply DENTISEPT after a meal to maximize its benefits.

For application, attach the applicator (included) to the tube to allow easier access to the posterior gum.

1- Carefully distribute a pea-sized amount with a finger.

2 - Cover the entire region to be treated (teeth, gums).

3 - For treatment in the oral cavity, it is recommended to attach the applicator to the tube. Thus, the gums at the back of the mouth can be reached easily. Apply a pea-sized amount to your mouth.

4 - The applied Dentisept must be carefully distributed with a finger and gently rubbed. To clean your finger, it is advisable to use a dry tissue first and then wash your hands. It is recommended to apply Dentisept once a day or weekly.

5 - Dentisept should not be applied before, but after food to prevent Dentisept from being eliminated before it can act.
