The term feline lower urinary tract disease or FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease)   generally used to describe a whole range of pathologies that can affect the bladder or urethra of cats.

Feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC), followed by urolithiasis, urethral plugs, urinary tract infections, and other less frequent causes such as anatomical defects, urethral spasms or stenosis, behavioral problems, or neoplasms.

Lower urinary tract disorders in dogs and cats are a frequent reason for consultation at veterinary clinics.

On many occasions, these lower urinary tract disorders can be frustrating because of their recurrent nature and difficult diagnosis, since many diseases share the same symptoms: frequency , strangury , dysuria , and/or hematuria .

These signs can be caused by many pathological processes, from infectious processes and urolithiasis to congenital or neoplastic diseases .

Dialix UT Forte 10: 1 tablet for every 10kg of body weight per day.

If you take more than 1 tablet per day, divide it between morning and evening.
The recommended treatment duration is 7 to 14 days; prolonged use is not recommended because Arctostaphylus uva-ursi contains tannins and hydroquinones that are metabolized in the kidneys and, in long treatments, can cause kidney irritation.

Warnings:

Contraindicated in animals with a history of oxalate stones or with renal insufficiency.
Renal risk, as it may cause hypoglycemia. Use with caution in animals with hypotension: do not administer with hypotensive or anesthetic drugs.
