Forbid is a product based on vitamin E and specific extracts of mineral and plant origin that, when taken daily with food, gives feces an extremely unpleasant taste, limiting and/or eliminating coprophagia.

Administering Forbid with food gives the feces an extremely unpleasant taste, resulting in a reduction of coprophagia in treated animals. Complete elimination of coprophagia is achieved after a few weeks of treatment.

We would like to remind you that this phenomenon, which is common in puppies and rarer in adult animals, is not related to mineral or vitamin deficiencies, as was believed in the past, but rather to behavioral changes.

Proper treatment with Forbid promotes a positive response in most animals, with coprophagia disappearing in 85% of cases. In more complicated cases, where animals maintain the behavior, appropriate behavioral therapy may be necessary.

The use of Forbid is recommended during deworming because, by preventing coprophagia, it prevents re-infestation of treated animals.

In the case of litters, or animals sharing the same space, it is necessary to administer Forbid to all animals (even if only one suffers from coprophagia).

Mix into food for at least 15 days or until the behavior is eliminated.

• Cats and small dogs: 2.5 g per day (½ teaspoon);
• Medium-sized dogs: 5 g per day (1 teaspoon);
• Large breed dogs: 10 g per day (2 teaspoons).
