Dogs and cats are carnivores!

This fact seems to have been forgotten after millennia of domestication, but dogs and cats remain carnivores. They have all the physical and physiological characteristics (jaws, claws, sensory organs) and, especially, a digestive system poorly adapted to metabolizing carbohydrates from cereals, for example. However, carnivores are perfectly adapted to digest and assimilate animal protein, which is undoubtedly the best way to ensure their health.
