The aging feline population is exposed to 2 important diseases:
Chronic Kidney Disease - CKD is the leading cause of mortality in cats aged 5 years and over (60% of cats aged +10 years suffer from CKD).
Osteoarthritis - Very common in senior cats, but underdiagnosed. In most cats it is detected at an advanced stage (60% of cats aged +6 years and 90% of cats aged +10 years show radiographic signs of osteoarthritis.

- HPM Vet Diets Cat KJ2 Kidney & Joint (when kidney disease is mild and has mild clinical signs, stage 2 (IRIS classification), and at the same time may need support in cases of osteoarthritis, in adult and/or senior cats) .
