Anal gland impaction is a common problem and can occur in small breed dogs. Anal gland impaction can cause pain and discomfort to dogs, leading to distress for dogs (and embarrassment for owners too) with unpleasant behavior such as rubbing their tail on the floor or licking and scratching their bottom!

Indications for Use:

ProGlan provides natural fibers to increase the bulk and consistency of stool. When stools are larger and of better consistency, they provide greater mechanical pressure to assist regular emptying of the anal gland as stool passes through the anus. Increased gut microbiome function supports continued intestinal stability, reducing the likelihood of further impactions.

The ingredients in proGlan™ work in three ways:
1- Natural increase in stool volume Pumpkin seeds and apple pectin are excellent sources of fiber, which increase stool volume and fecal mass.

2- Microbiome support Bacillus velezensis (DSM 15544) is a probiotic registered for use in dogs. Supplementation with lactobacilli may help support a healthy gastrointestinal microbiome, aiding digestion and improving stool consistency.

3- Supports the immune response to inflammation A combination of echinacea, vitamin C and vitamin E that supports a healthy immune and inflammatory response.
