Prophylaxis and treatment of infections caused by gastrointestinal nematodes such as: Syphacia spp., Aspicularis spp., Trichuris muris, Nippostrongylus brasiliensis, Baylisascaris procyonis, Trichostrongylus spp., Toxocara canis, Ascaris spp., Capillaria spp., Ascaridia spp., Heterakis spp., Paraspidodera uncinata and Syngamus trachea.

Oral powder for administration in drinking water .

Target species

Songbirds, carrier pigeons, dwarf rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, and rats.

Active substance: Levamisole hydrochloride 50mg (w/w).

Oral administration in drinking water.

Songbirds
In water: 1 to 2 grams per liter.
In feed: 2 to 4g/kg.

Carrier pigeons
2 to 3g / liter of water.

Dwarf rabbits
2 to 4 grams per liter of water or per kg of feed.

Small rodents
2 to 3 grams per liter of water.

Use in water:
A single dose of 2.5 grams (one level measuring spoon) of Vermizoo per liter of water, once a day.
If possible, remove the water the day before, in the early afternoon of the morning, and refill the drinking troughs only with water containing dewormer, so that the birds and other animals drink it on that single day of treatment.

Use in animal feed:
A single dose of 4 to 5 grams per kg of Vermizoo, well mixed into the first meal of the morning.
Repeat the treatment after 21 days. This repetition is important to avoid early reinfestations, since the product acts on worms and larvae but, as is the case with virtually all dewormers, it does not act on the eggs that will hatch during the 20 days following deworming.

Contraindications
Do not administer simultaneously with anti-parasitic baths;
Do not administer in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients;
Do not administer to animals intended for human consumption;
Do not administer in cases of renal insufficiency or ocular cysticercosis;
Not recommended for birds under 4 weeks old.

Adverse reactions
Adverse reactions are very rare when administered at recommended therapeutic doses.
