WeDerm - Oral Solution | NewPet

Support and Balance for Skin and Hair.

WeDerm® guarantees a synergistic effect with anti-inflammatories, reduces the need for steroids, reduces inflammation and itching and improves the skin's barrier effect by strengthening the epidermal intercellular ceramide layers.

Polyunsaturated Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) are precursors of the main components of the phospholipid cell membrane.

They are therefore fundamental in the diet of dogs and cats, which is generally deficient in these components.

Skin changes in dogs and cats are very common, and can manifest in the form of dermatoses, with:

- itching
- Erythema
- peeling
- alopecia
- seborrhea
- Hyperkeratosis

WeDerm® is a complex rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals that promotes a unique and balanced support for healthy skin and coat.

- Linoleic Acid (LA)
- Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA)
- Eicosapentaenoic Acids (EPA)
- Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)

Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) -   promotes the synthesis of anti-inflammatory axesanoids, such as prostaglandin PG-3 and leukotriene LT-5, and reduces the synthesis of other highly inflammatory eicosanoids.

Linolenic acid (LA) –   essential for the maintenance and construction of the intercellular caramid layer of epidermal cells, producing a barrier effect and controlling transcutaneous water loss.

Echosapentanoic Acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) –   They promote the synthesis of anti-inflammatory eicosanoids, such as prostaglandin PG-3 and Leukotriene LT-5, and reduce the synthesis of other highly inflammatory eicosanoids.

Zinc, Biotin and other B vitamins –   Zinc is an essential cofactor for maintaining the balance of collagen fibers in the skin and its lack is associated with dermatoses characteristic of some races. Together with B vitamins they reduce the occurrence of alopecia, erythema and pruritus.

Vitamin E and Vitamin C -    Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant and vitamin V is water-soluble. Both are able to reduce the damage caused by the formation of oxygen free radicals. They thus protect epidermal cell membranes from induced oxidative damage.

Vitamin A -   it is essential for cell replacement and activation of keratinization of epidermis cells. Its deficiency is frequently observed in cats and in some breeds of dogs.

Vitamin D3 -   It plays an important role in skin and coat balance, particularly in older animals.
