Willow Bark Tea (Weidenrinden-Tee) Backs | NewPet

Protects pigeons from intestinal parasites and bacteria (colibacteria, salmonella, coccidia and worms).

By regularly using Backs Willow Bark Tea, stool tests are almost always negative.

Therefore, unnecessary and expensive cures can be avoided.

The ingredients in willow bark are salicylic alcohol glycosides, flavonoids, phenol carboxylic acids and tannins. Salicin is broken down into salicylic alcohol and glucose in the intestine and then converted in the liver to salicylic acid, the active ingredient in aspirin.

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to write about how willow bark works on pigeons. However, we recommend using it during cold and wet periods and before breeding.

Analytical constituents: 26.3% crude fiber

How to use:
Add 1 heaping tablespoon of willow bark to 1 quart of cold water and heat slowly until boiling.
Then remove from heat and let it infuse for another 5 minutes.
Let the tea cool and add it pure to the drink.

We recommend:
- For 2 consecutive days before mating and before traveling.
- During the trip, one day after the flight, during the moulting period, every 4 weeks, on 2 consecutive days.
- In the case of young weaned pigeons, also every 4 weeks, on 2 consecutive days.

Store in a dry place away from light.
