Glutamax Advanced oral paste for adult cats is indicated to support proper liver function in cases of chronic liver failure.

Glutamax Advanced oral paste for cats comes in a palatable paste for easier ingestion by cats, and with a syringe with a plunger for easier administration of the indicated dose.

5 Actions to Restore Normal Liver Function
1- Hepatoprotective
2- Antioxidant
3- Non-toxic
4- Antifibrotic
5- Metabolic

The only one with naturally derived S-acetylglutathione from Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

The most bioavailable form of glutathione for oral administration.

Zinc
The zinc present in GLUTAMAX® Advanced is chelated with amino acids (glycine) to avoid side effects in the gastrointestinal tract and provide greater bioavailability.
- Reduces liver fibrosis
Antioxidant effect
- It impairs the absorption of copper inside liver cells (useful in copper poisoning).
- Antioxidant activity enhanced by vitamin
- Cofactor of many enzymes; during chronic liver dysfunction, its deficiency is common and causes a decrease in ammonia detoxification.

Vitamin B
Vitamin B12 is a cofactor in hepatic metabolic pathways, so its quantity is critical in chronic liver dysfunctions due to its involvement in the reduction of glutathione.
Feline idiopathic cholangiohepatitis and lipidosis are characterized by a vitamin B12 deficiency.

L-Carnitine
L-carnitine is a vitamin-like substance found in most cells. L-carnitine synthesis occurs predominantly in the liver, and consequently, liver diseases can result in deficiency states.
L-carnitine deficiency can result in the accumulation of triglycerides in hepatocytes and lead to the accumulation of toxic acetyl CoA metabolites that impair respiration and mitochondrial function.

Clinically, L-carnitine deficiency has been associated with increased ammonia concentrations, hypoglycemia, and fatty liver disease.
L-carnitine deficiency may play a role in the pathogenesis of idiopathic feline hepatic lipidosis.

Taurine
Taurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid necessary for membrane stabilization and detoxification.
In cats, it is an essential nutrient. Taurine is recommended for use in cases of lipidosis and cholestasis.

Selection of ingredients:
1 S-acetylglutathione
2 L-carnitine
3 Taurine
4. Zinc chelated with amino acids
5 Vitamin E
