Calcium carbonate acts as a phosphate binder. Urovet - RQ favors diuresis and urea excretion. It also soothes pain, reduces inflammation, and supports kidney function by regulating transport and osmotic balance.


Indications:
- Regular use of Urovet-R promotes diuresis and consequently increases the elimination of urea and other metabolic toxins through the urine,

- Promotes the normalization of ion transport and osmotic balance,

- Relieves pain and reduces inflammation in the urinary tract.


Calcium carbonate - Acts as a phosphate binder, reducing its absorption. Doses follow the IRIS recommendation for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD)

Fish oil (source of 3) - Anti-inflammatory and calming effect. Supports the regeneration of the bladder mucosa

L-arginine - Contributions to eliminate ammonium ions. In CKD, arginine production in the proximal tubules is seriously compromised.

Taurine - Essential amino acid for cats. It prevents lipid peroxidation in the mesangial cells of the glomerulus. Regulates ion transport and osmotic balance.

Glycine - Glycine is an amino acid that exerts a protective effect on the kidneys, liver and other organs against cell death induced by hypoxia, ATP depletion or xenobiotics

Ortosiphon, Nettle and Lespedeza - Plants with a potent diuretic effect. Facilitate the excretion of uric acid and urea

Baking Soda - Counteracts acidosis and significantly delays the progression of kidney failure

Administration:
Cats and dogs: for every 10 kg of weight administer 2 g of gel (equivalent to 8 cm) two (2) times a day for three (3) to four (4) consecutive weeks, directly in the mouth, on one paw or about food.

NOTE: One (1) gram of UROVET-R gel is approximately four (4) centimeters long. The top of the tube measures six (6) centimeters.

During the period in which the supplementation with UROVET-R takes place, we must ensure that the animals have permanent free access to a source of drinking water.
